Indian Bank Apprentice Eligibility Criteria 2024
Candidates who wish to apply for the Indian Bank Apprentice Recruitment 2024 must fulfill the following nationality, educational and age criteria.
All the citizens of India are eligible to apply for this apprenticeship program if they fulfill the educational and age criteria.
Candidates who are subjects of Nepal or Bhutan can also apply for the apprentice post
Tibetan refugees who came to India before one January 1962 are also eligible to apply for the apprentice post.
Candidates of Indian Origin who came to India from Burma, Vietnam, Zambia, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, and East African countries such as Kenya, Zaire, Tanzania, Uganda, and Malawi to settle here permanently are also eligible to apply for the post.
Age Criteria
An applicant must not be below 20 years and above 28 years of age to apply for the Indian Bank Apprenticeship program.
Candidates must note that Age relaxation is also available to certain reserved categories including SC, ST, PWD, & OBCs based on directions made by the government.
An applying candidate must withhold a bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognised institution. The past certificate that a candidate withholds must be dated sometime after 31 March 2020.
Indian Bank Apprentice Application Procedure 2024
All the candidates who are interested to apply for the position of apprentice at Indian Bank must visit the official website of Indian Bank at https://www.indianbank.in/ or must register themselves on the NATS portal at https://nats.education.gov.in/ to apply for the apprenticeship program.

Register yourself as a new candidate using your name, phone number, and email ID.
Use the registration id and password sent to your email ID to log in.
After logging in, fill the application form that opens on your desktop.
The next step is to upload a copy of the required documents.
Recheck your application form for any mistakes and click on the submit button.
After the form submission, you will be directed to the payment portal.
Pay the application fee via any online banking mode.
Once the fee payment is complete, a confirmation mail will be sent to your email ID

All the applying candidates have to fill an application fee to apply for the position of apprentice at Indian Bank. The application fee varies for different categories.
For unreserved, OBC, & EWS categories, the application fee is ₹500
There is no application fee charged for SC, ST & PWD candidates.
Candidates must also note that the application fee can only be filled via online mode using a debit card, credit card, internet banking, E-challan, or UPI.
The selection procedure for Indian Bank apprentice recruitment 2024 consists of two steps.
Written exam – This exam is of qualifying nature and carries 100 marks. All the questions asked in the paper are of objective type. The subjects in which a candidate is tested include quantitative aptitude, reasoning aptitude and computer knowledge, general financial awareness, and general English. The duration for which the exam is conducted is 1 hour. Each correct answer is awarded 1 mark while -0.25 mark is deducted for every wrong answer.
Local Language proficiency test – Under this test candidates are tested for their reading, writing, and speaking abilities of a local language of the state the candidate is applying in.
Indian Bank Apprentice Salary 2024
An Indian Bank apprentice is employed for a period of 12 months. The salary of the candidate is ₹12000 per month in rural areas and ₹15000 in urban and semi urban areas.
