NTA cancels UGC NET 2024 Exam
Due to worries that the test’s honesty was undermined, the National Testing Agency (NTA) has suspended the UGC NET 2024 examination. Another test will be planned, with other info given in different updates. To keep transparency and hold credibility in the system, the matter has also been passed on to investigators from an independent body, the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) by the Ministry of Education, Government of India.

UGC NET 2024 Exam Schedule
The UGC NET 2024 June session is going to be conducted by the National Testing Agency from 21st August 2024 to 4th September 2024.
It shall be conducted in CBT mode. There will be two shifts every day:
Morning Shift: 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Afternoon Shift: 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
These dates have been specified for the June session. The timetable for the December session is yet to be announced.
The admit card will be issued 15 days in advance of the exam and will carry the exam date and timing of the shifts. The details of UGC NET are described in the information brochure, available on the NTA website: nta.ac.in.

UGC NET 2024 Exam day instructions
The UGC NET exam day instructions for 2024 will be available through the official information brochure on the website of the exam authorities and will be included in the admit card. The candidates have to follow these important instructions in the examination centers:
Arrival Time: Candidates need to arrive at their exam center at least one hour before the start of the exam.
Admit Card: The UGC NET admit card should be brought along for the exam since entry into the examination hall is not granted without it.
